Honoring the Victims of 9/11

The city of Boston held a memorial service on September 11th in memory of the victims who perished that day. Governor Deval Patrick attended the event and honored the crew members of the flight with the Madeline Amy Sweeney Award for Civilian Bravery. “Nine years after the World Trade Center towers were brought down in the deadliest attack on American soil in decades, public officials, safety personnel and citizens gathered at memorial services in Boston and across the state to honor the victims of the tragedy and to thank current public safety personnel.
