The Secrets of Long Life Sought in DNA of the Elderly

107-year-old George Eberhardt credits his long life to his 70 year marriage but scientists believe there may be more to it, and are beginning a new study using genome sequencing to find out. The new project is called the “X Prize project”, which hopes to determine if genetics are the key factor to determining a long life.
