Traditionally, Thanksgiving was a time to give thanks for the bounty of the harvest and all of life’s blessings. More recently, it has come to mean a time for travel, family get-togethers, and extensive menu planning. Often, the reason behind the season can get lost in the shuffle. But numerous studies have shown that the act of giving thanks can be beneficial to one’s overall well-being.
